SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) are two similar strategies that businesses use to increase their online visibility and reach potential customers through search engines. While both involve using keywords and other tactics to improve a website’s ranking on search results pages, they differ in how they go about achieving that goal. SEO is focused on improving the organic (unpaid) ranking of a website through techniques such as on-page optimization, content creation, and link building. On the other hand, SEM involves using paid advertising methods, such as PPC (pay-per-click) ads, to increase a website’s visibility on search results pages along with SEO practices.
In short, SEO is a long-term strategy that focuses on organic ranking, while PPC is a more immediate tactic that uses paid advertising to improve visibility, and SEM is a combination of both.
The simple answer is “NO”. Let me explain;
There are multiple ways that you can protect a domain name.
- Parking: Parking only helps you by protecting the domain from your competition. When you park a domain, it shows the ad of the domain provider when you type the domain. Can be used in certain cases but doesn’t help with SEO at all.
- Pointing: Pointing a domain is a “BIG NO NO NO” There is no way that I can put enough no here. Never point a domain to the same hosting that you use for your main website. Google is smarter than most people think. If you point more than one domain to the same website, you will get penalized. Nowadays, duplicate content is the biggest reason for websites to get penalized.
- Forwarding: Forwarding is the only way to use multiple domains properly. It is also known as; 301, 301 redirect, or permanent redirect. Does that help with SEO? How the Google algorithm works is a big secret but if you ask my personal opinion, there is no reason to waste money if you are not thinking your competitor may use it, or the domain you are planning to purchase has a high DA ( domain authority) rating.
The best way to improve your Online Presence is to study and practice for years to solve how search engine parameters work or simply hire a professional.
It is generally not recommended to buy backlinks in order to improve your website’s ranking on search engine results pages. While buying backlinks may seem like a quick and easy way to boost your website’s ranking, search engines such as Google are constantly updating their algorithms to detect and penalize websites that engage in this practice. In addition, buying backlinks can be risky, as you may end up paying for low-quality or spammy links that could potentially harm your website’s reputation and ranking. Therefore, it is safer and more effective to focus on building high-quality, natural backlinks through legitimate methods such as creating valuable content and promoting it through social media and other channels.
How Google can catch the websites still buying backlinks?
Most of you are not going to read this part because we all know Google is pretty much capable of doing anything in the internet world. Especially, in the systems owned by Google. Don’t blame them. Google is doing this to serve people better. I don’t think they have any intent to harm us.
How they get you is a very simple question.
- You get too many backlinks in a very short period of time and it suddenly stops.
- Most backlinks have the same anchor text.
- The spam score of the website you are getting backlinks from is high.
There is still a way to buy backlinks. It is still against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines but I’m sure Google will tolerate this method since it is a custom, informative and unique method. The method is paying professional content creators with off-site SEO experience to create a Guess Post for you and maybe find a good website to publish it for you as well.
Buying the content and publishing on your own would be the safest way since you are not actually buying the link but buying the content and you create the link on your own.
Do Not Forget, 1 good backlink ranks you much better than 1,000,000 bad ones.
I’m not sure if anybody still asks this question but I will answer.
Think the websites are your stores or salespeople in some cases. These stores are always open, answer questions, sell items or services, book appointments, run payments, generate leads, and many more. These are not the best advantages of websites.
Do you know what is the best advantage of a website? All these employees virtually doing the jobs are the codes. Codes don’t eat, drink, party… They don’t need money so they don’t charge you.
Only they need a shelter(hosting) and an address(domain) that’s all.
To keep your website professional and make sure it is working to its full potential, you may hire a professional. Adding one of our online presence management plans to manage your website and support it on many other platforms as well will also increase the capability of your website.
There are some good social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. but when you say best, it depends on the industry that your business is in.
For example, if you are a graphic designer => Behance, photographer => Instagram, retail business => Facebook, etc…
We always recommend you have at least two of them for any business type.
In the digital marketing world, a landing page is a standalone web page, created specifically for marketing or advertising a campaign. The page is usually tailored to the needs of visitors and optimized for conversion. It should also be easily found on Google search engine results pages (SERPs).
A landing page is designed to pick up clicks and sell a product or service by making visitors feel special, giving them a sense that they are the only people who have been invited to take part in this exclusive event. The content on the page will be highly relevant, interesting, credible, and empathetic to these visitors’ motivations. It will include information about why certain people should care about what’s mentioned, or how it can help them in some way such as by increasing sales or reducing waste.

SEO stands for search engine optimization. SEO is all about getting your content to rank higher in the search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing so that when people use the keywords you’ve put on your website or blog, you show up in their results. This is a huge part of how online traffic works for websites.
Many people think SEO was just something created to get money through advertisements but this isn’t true at all. SEO is a free practice you do on your website. You only pay for an expert to do it for you and unless it is way harder than it looks, it may be costly.
The important part about SEO is you will be gifted or penalized. There is no middle. If you get penalized, that may be very expensive to fix it. That’s why we always recommend leaving SEO to professionals.
It’s important to note that a high spam score on a website does not necessarily mean it has been penalized or banned by Google. However, this does not mean the website is in good condition either. In fact, websites with high spam scores should be addressed as soon as possible. The spam score is determined using artificial intelligence, which compares your website to those that have been penalized or banned. By understanding and addressing your spam score, you can ensure your website remains in good standing with Google.
What affects the spam score?
There are several factors that can affect a website’s spam score, such as the use of spammy or low-quality links, keyword stuffing in content, hidden or invisible text, cloaking (serving different content to search engines than to users), and duplication of content across multiple pages or websites. Additionally, using any tactics to manipulate search engine rankings or participating in link schemes can also negatively impact a website’s spam score. It is essential for website owners to follow best practices and avoid using any tactics that may be considered spammy or manipulative in order to maintain a good spam score.

We consult, design, and analyze PPC campaigns for our clients. We just do not manage their budget.
Ibrahim Hanoglu, the CEO of DMC, is a firm believer in blockchain technologies. The reason for this is that he is uncomfortable with the current situation in the marketing industry. A large part of the digital marketing industry, especially PPC campaigns, has surrendered to fraud, over 50% in some practices. This fraud includes everyone from ad publishers to ad agencies, directly or indirectly. In other words, in many cases, more than 50% of the advertising budget received from the ad buyer (you) is never used for advertising expenditures, or even if it is used, it becomes a victim of click fraud.
At DMC, we allow our members to manage their own advertising budgets in order to reduce their vulnerability in today’s systems, apart from our research and integration work on blockchain to increase our members’ security and ROI. That way they can control where their ad spends go. Of course, like all other ad buyers, they become victims of click fraud, which the ad publishers (Google – Facebook – etc.) cannot prevent in the current system. For these very reasons, our academic research continues on new marketing methods that make click fraud impossible and use the blockchain infrastructure.
